My thoughts are with Raymond's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I can’t stop thinking about the other passengers on that train and the trauma they must have experienced witnessing such a violent incident. It's awful to think they could have just been traveling home or heading somewhere to see friends for the holidays. The CTA is supposed to be a safe space for everyone, and I hope this tragic event prompts some changes in the way security is handled on these trains. Public transport is such an essential service, and everyone deserves to feel safe. It's especially concerning that the suspect is still out there—hoping for quick justice and answers for Raymond’s loved ones. If anyone heard or saw anything, please don't hesitate to come forward.
