Just came across this case about Luis, the guy who went missing after calling from the airport in Guanajuato. One thing that's really got me curious is why he chose to cross the border in Sonora this time. I read he used to travel a lot and cross many times, but still, Sonora seems a little out of the way compared to other crossing points. Maybe someone who knows the area better could shed some light on whether this is a popular route or if there's something specific that might have drawn him that way? Also, anyone have any insight on cell coverage or communication issues in that region? Could that have been a reason we're not hearing from him? Just trying to piece together anything that might help understand his situation better.

Hey everyone, has anyone come across any information on increased border surveillance or immigration checks in the Sonora area? It seems like Luis was planning to cross there, and I wonder if he might have run into some issues. I know there's been talk about more strict checks recently. Just wondering if anyone has any insights or info on the current situation at the Sonora border crossing. Anything helps!

Hey everyone, just jumping into this thread about Luis. Something that stands out to me is his familiarity with traveling and his previous border crossings. Clearly, he's experienced, so the radio silence is puzzling. Has anybody looked into the possibility of him losing his phone or experiencing some technical issues? Maybe there's a chance his phone got damaged or he lost it right after the airport call? Have any tracking attempts or contacts with service providers been made? It doesn't explain everything, but it's a thought, considering he used to stay in touch. Would love to hear what others think or know about this angle.
