Has anyone else been thinking about how Mr. Long was known for being such a reliable and trusted presence in the community? It’s hard to wrap my head around how someone who's spent decades helping others, just doing his job, could be taken away in such a violent and senseless manner. I can't imagine the loss his family and colleagues feel right now. Many of us in the local area might not have met him personally but have benefited from his work, directly or indirectly. In these tight-knit places, people like Mr. Long often become unsung pillars of our community. It’s chilling to think that a simple task could end so tragically. It’s a stark reminder of how unpredictable life can be, even in situations that seem routine. His bravery and dedication won't be forgotten, and my heart goes out to everyone affected by this devastating event.
