I've been following the tragic events in Evanston, and my heart goes out to the Grasse family. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and turmoil they're facing right now. I've been thinking about the role alcohol might have played in this situation. Clearly, it fueled the argument between Michael and Ethan, and it's so saddening when alcohol contributes to such devastating consequences. It's important to acknowledge how substance abuse can escalate tensions and impair judgment, sometimes with irreversible outcomes. I know nothing can bring Michael back, but hopefully, this case will shine a light on the need for awareness and support regarding alcohol-related issues. My thoughts are with everyone touched by this tragedy.
