I just can't stop thinking about the kids who were in the house when all of this happened. It's deeply troubling to imagine what they went through and how this will affect them long-term. From everything I've read, they were the ones who made that brave call to 911. At such young ages, being thrust into a situation like this is beyond traumatic. I hope they're getting all the support and counseling they need to process what they've witnessed. No child should have to experience something so violent and terrifying. My heart goes out to them and to Jennifer’s family and friends who are left picking up the pieces after such a devastating event. We mustn't overlook the signs of domestic violence and the importance of early intervention to prevent tragedies like this. Peace to everyone touched by this loss.
