Hey everyone, I was going through the forum and noticed something that hasn't been talked about much in the case of Ernest Darby. I'm really curious about the role of the conservation officers who were involved in the investigation. I know it's common to bring in various agencies for support, but it's interesting how conservation officers were part of the initial response. Does anyone know if there's any additional information on why they were involved so early on? Like, was there something specific about the rural property that required their expertise? Or is this just standard procedure in Missouri when dealing with areas like that? It makes me wonder if something about the location played a part in the investigation, especially being on a secluded property. It's just so sad knowing a neighbor was shot in such a peaceful place. Hoping the investigators find some new leads soon, for the sake of Ernest's family and community. If anyone has insight or more details, please share.
