Has anyone looked into the possibility that Daniel might've intended to travel further than just the neighbors? I mean, it's pretty unusual that he took his laptop with him if he was just heading next door, right? It makes me wonder if he had plans that day that someone else might not have been aware of. Maybe he was doing some kind of work for the university? Or maybe he planned to meet someone else after visiting the neighbors? It's just a thought, but I feel like understanding why he had the laptop could be a key clue in figuring out what happened.
