Did anyone else notice how quiet Cornwall Avenue has been since the tragic loss of Paul Byrd? I've lived in Buffalo my whole life, and this neighborhood always felt like a place where everyone knew each other. Hearing about his murder in broad daylight just feels so unsettling. I can’t imagine what his family must be going through, with no closure even now. It makes me wonder if there might have been security cameras or any witnesses around the area that day who haven't come forward yet. It's terrifying to think that whoever is responsible is still out there. I really hope more people start speaking up or checking any footage they might have. If even the smallest detail can help solve this, it would mean the world to his family and our community. Stay safe, everyone, and let's keep our eyes open.
It's baffling and so incredibly sad that Paul Byrd's murder is still unsolved after all these years. I was thinking about the fact that it happened in broad daylight, right outside his own home. You'd think someone might have seen or heard something given the time of day and location. It's a busy neighborhood, and these kinds of brazen acts rarely go completely unnoticed.
I read that local authorities are offering a reward for any information. For anyone who might know something, even if it seems minor, it might be the missing piece needed to bring some closure to his family. It's hard to imagine how they must feel, knowing the case remains open. I hope someone comes forward soon. Paul deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
I've been following Paul Byrd's case closely, and I just can't shake the feeling of how exposed and vulnerable one must feel knowing a crime happened right in front of someone's home in broad daylight. It's terrifying to think that your own neighborhood, your safe space, can become a crime scene in an instant. I really hope more people come forward with any information, no matter how small it might seem. Sometimes the tiniest details can be the missing piece to this puzzle. My heart goes out to his family, who must live with such uncertainty and pain every day, waiting for justice. It's been quite some time since 2017, and they deserve answers and closure. Is anyone here familiar with what steps are typically taken in an unsolved case like this? It seems like so little progress has been made, and I can't imagine the frustration everyone involved must feel.
