I've been following the case of missing person Jessica Ramirez, and I recently came across something curious about her last known location. Witnesses reported seeing her at the US/Mexico border, but it’s unclear why she was crossing at such an odd hour. I wonder if anyone else has seen cases like this where people vanish after crossing international borders. Could this be linked to something larger, like human trafficking or smuggling rings? I've read that sometimes the documentation isn't as strict at certain crossings. Thoughts or similar cases that you’ve followed?

I’ve been thinking a lot about how someone could just vanish while crossing the US/Mexico border. It's just baffling to me. It makes me wonder about the security measures in place at the border and how someone could slip through the cracks.
Are there areas that aren’t closely monitored, or is it more about the overwhelming number of people crossing that makes it easy for someone to disappear? Has anyone else been following the case of Elena Martinez? What's puzzling to me is the last sighting of her at the US/Mexico border. Why was she there in the first place?
