I’ve been following the tragic case of Ronald Neville, and it's difficult to wrap my head around what happened. What stands out to me is the brutal nature of the break-in—three men forcefully barging into his room at the Motel 6 and what seems like a targeted, instantaneous shooting. It's hard to imagine the fear he must have felt in those moments. The senselessness of it all, especially for a bag that only contained about $100 worth of items, is mind-boggling. It makes me wonder about the motives behind such violent acts and the desperation or mindset of the people involved. The arrest of Ronnie Fewell is a step towards justice, but there are still others out there who need to be found and held accountable. Our thoughts should definitely be with Neville’s family during this unimaginable time. These acts of violence leave scars not only on the victim's loved ones but on the community as well. Hoping for a thorough investigation and some sense of closure for everyone affected.
