I've been following the case of Leonard Strickland's tragic death in Tacoma, and my heart goes out to his family and everyone affected by this devastating event. One detail that's really sticking with me is the involvement of brass knuckles. It feels like such an old-school weapon in an era where we usually hear about guns when violence breaks out. I can’t wrap my head around why anyone would bring brass knuckles to a fistfight or how things could escalate so dramatically from there. Does anyone else feel that the presence of brass knuckles indicates premeditation or makes the situation even more complex? I'm curious how this piece of evidence might factor into the court's perspective on whether this was a fight gone wrong or something more intentional. Either way, it's just so unbelievably sad for everyone involved.
