Has anyone heard more about the legal status of Erica's roommate? I'm trying to understand how the law handles situations like this, where there was no intent to harm, just a tragic mistake. It seems so complicated when fear drives a person to unjustly act. My heart goes out to Erica’s family, especially considering she had so much on her shoulders with her husband's cancer treatment. It feels like this was just a horrible series of events that collided at the worst possible moment. I wonder if her colleagues or students have heard about any counseling being offered by the university to help the community process this tragedy.
