Has anyone else been following the case of the woman who went missing near the US-Mexico border by Vamori? I’ve been looking into her situation, and it just baffles me that she was left behind in such a dangerous area. From what I've gathered, the quick shift in plans with the group she was traveling with somehow led to her being stranded. The heat and terrain are so unforgiving around that time of year, especially near a place like "La Sierrita." It's surreal how much of the route from Altar to Lukeville is just barren desert. If anyone familiar with that area has insights on how someone could survive out there for even a short time, it would be great to know. It seems crucial to understand the challenges she might have faced. I'm really hoping for some positive news or developments soon.
I've been thinking a lot about this case and got curious about a few things. Why was she left behind in the desert by her neighbors? Did they say anything about why they didn’t wait or try to help her more? It’s just so confusing to me. I know the reports mention "La Sierrita," which is pretty remote, but does anyone know if that area is popular for crossings or if there are known dangers there? I read something about the distance between Altar, Lukeville, and Vamori, and it seems like a harsh route. Hoping there are still efforts to search for her in that area, especially given the tough conditions. Would be interested to hear more local insights if anyone's familiar.
