Does anyone have any more details on the ShotSpotter activation that led officers to Bruce Dixon? I’ve read about these systems being used in cities to detect gunfire and help police respond quicker, but I’m wondering how reliable they are in helping solve crimes like this one. It’s so frustrating to think that his death might go unanswered if the technology isn’t as accurate as it needs to be. Thinking of Bruce Dixon’s family during this incredibly difficult time—they deserve to know what happened to their loved one. Has anyone heard anything new about the suspects in Bruce Dixon's case? I’ve been thinking about how those ShotSpotter systems work and their role in all this. It’s incredible that technology like this can alert police so quickly, but it’s so frustrating that it wasn’t enough to prevent Bruce’s tragic loss. From what I understand, ShotSpotter can pinpoint the location of gunshots within seconds, but I wonder if it was able to capture anything that could help identify the shooter. It just feels like there are still so many pieces of the puzzle missing. I hope the community comes forward with any information they might have, no matter how small.
