Hey everyone, just wanted to share some thoughts on the John Ray Hefty case. It's been over a decade, and I'm still intrigued by the possibility that he might have been in Arizona around the time he went missing. I know there hasn't been any concrete evidence linking him to that area, but does anyone know if there were any missing person reports from around the Arizona mountains in October 2010? It's a long shot, but cross-referencing with other unsolved cases from that region might lead to something. It's just frustrating that after all these years, there's so little information out there about what happened to him. If anyone has any ideas or resources they could share about looking into this angle, it would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone else find it odd that there's been absolutely no confirmed sightings or leads in John's case all these years, especially since there's speculation he might've gone to Arizona? I mean, traveling to a mountain area sounds like a pretty significant move. Did he have any connections or reasons to be in that part of the country? The Arizona link always struck me as intriguing but also super vague. You'd think there'd be some trace if he made it out that far. Maybe someone local from the Arizona area might recall seeing him or interacting with him back in 2010? Just thinking out loud here and hoping for any fresh perspectives on things that might not have been covered yet!
