I’ve been thinking about Richard Dewain Hess’s case a lot. It’s so baffling that investigators haven’t found any trace of him, especially after that fire. One thing I find particularly strange is the absence of any physical remains. Even in intense fires, you’d think some evidence would be left behind. I wonder if anyone’s looked into the possibility of Richard having left the house before the explosion occurred? Maybe something happened outside, and the fire was just a diversion? Has there been any local chatter or tips from the community in Barnett that might hint at something unusual going on before that night? Anyone familiar with how things were around Barnett around that time might have insights that could be valuable. It seems like there are still so many unanswered questions here.
Has anyone else noticed how strange it is that there were no remains found at all after the fire at Richard Hess's cousin's house? I mean, isn't it incredibly unusual for absolutely nothing to be discovered when the site was thoroughly searched by both investigators and cadaver dogs? Fires are devastating, sure, but usually there's *something* left behind. It's almost like he completely vanished into thin air, which just adds layers to this mystery. Could there be more to the house explosion than meets the eye? Maybe the fire was a cover-up for something bigger? Just throwing thoughts around, trying to make sense of it all. It's been over a decade, but this part of the case still really gets to me. Would love to hear others' thoughts or theories.
Does anyone find it odd that there were no remains found at the scene of the fire where Richard Hess disappeared? I keep thinking about this and can't wrap my head around it. With such a devastating fire, you would expect at least some evidence of remains. The fact that cadaver dogs didn't find anything either just adds to the mystery. Could it be possible that Richard left the house before the explosion, maybe without anyone noticing? Or is there another explanation we're just not seeing? It's baffling, to say the least. Any insights or similar cases that could shed some light?
