I've been reading through the posts about Alfred Begay and it's just so incredibly tragic to see how gun violence continues to shatter lives and communities. I stumbled upon his memorial video, and it really drives home how many precious lives were lost during those years in Albuquerque. Alfred’s name is there, but I can't help but feel that it doesn't tell us who he truly was. I’ve seen calls for more information and photos to be added to his memorial profile. It made me wonder if there are people out there who remember him, not just as a statistic, but as a friend, a son, or a community member. Personal stories or pictures could help bring his memory to life in a way that honors who Alfred was. Does anyone here know more about him?
