I've been thinking a lot about the unsolved case of Nancy Myers lately, and my heart goes out to her friends and family who must be feeling so lost without answers. The fact that her murder happened in Albuquerque, a city with its fair share of unsolved cases, must be incredibly frustrating for her loved ones. One thing that caught my attention is how often these cases can hinge on small details or tips from the community. You'd think with all the advancements in forensic science, we'd be seeing more of these cold cases being closed, but it seems like every little bit of information counts. It’s a poignant reminder of how crucial it is for witnesses, even those who might think they have an insignificant detail, to come forward. It's inspiring (though also exasperating) to see how committed the cold case investigators are. They have an enormous task ahead, but every piece of evidence they can collect is another opportunity for progress. I'm hopeful for Nancy's case and for everyone else waiting for their own answers. If anyone thinks they know something, no matter how small, your voice could make all the difference.
