Just saw a local news segment about Willard Crazymule, the Indigenous man reported missing back in April. They mentioned he often spent time in the downtown Spokane area. It got me thinking about how easily people can slip through the cracks, especially if they have unique circumstances like Willard's. It's striking that no substantial leads have come up despite the attention the case has received. His missing right arm and the tattoo with his last name, "Crazymule," are such defining features. If he were still around Spokane, how could someone not notice? I hope the police are combing through downtown CCTV footage for any clues. It seems like that area would have a lot of cameras. Has anyone else heard about recent efforts or searches in the area? Hoping there's some update soon.

I’ve been following Willard Crazymule's case and wanted to share some thoughts about the efforts to raise awareness for missing Indigenous persons. It’s really commendable to see more attention being directed toward these cases, but it’s disheartening how often they seem to slip under the radar for so long. I hope the increased interest in Willard’s case might help not only in finding him but also in helping the public understand the urgency needed for similar cases. It’s critical we support these initiatives and keep these stories alive, especially with unique identifiers like Willard’s tattoo and his physical characteristics, which could make a huge difference if someone spots him. Anyone else feel like there’s a slow but crucial shift happening in how these cases are handled? What more can we do to keep the momentum going?
