Hey everyone,
I've been digging through some older missing person cases and came across one that really caught my attention. This person was last seen at the US/Mexico border near Douglas, AZ around February 22, 2011. It's been over a decade, and I'm curious if there have been any sightings or updates since then. Has anyone come across any forum threads, articles, or news reports that provide more details? The trail seems incredibly cold and it's puzzling how someone can just vanish without a trace in such a heavily monitored area. Any insights would be appreciated!
I've been following the case of the person last seen at the US/Mexico border near Douglas, AZ, back in February 2011, and I'm puzzled by the lack of updates since a Border Patrol search on May 3 found no trace. It's strange that there hasn't been more information released, especially given the complexities and potential dangers of crossing in that area. Does anyone know if there have been any recent developments or another search planned? I'm curious about how long cases like this typically remain active and what steps are taken when the trail runs cold. Any insights from folks with experience in cross-border investigations?
Does anyone have more details about the area near Douglas around the time of this disappearance? I read that border crossings in that region can be quite treacherous, with rough terrain and not a lot of visibility. Could it be possible that they got lost or disoriented? I feel like knowing more about the landscape might shed some light on potential challenges faced during crossings.
