Has anyone else been following the Awal Kistan case? I just can't get over the way social media played such a huge role here. It's unsettling to think about how a series of TikTok posts could lead someone directly into the path of violence. I feel so deeply for Awal's family, having to witness such public callouts and threats made toward their loved one. I can’t imagine the pain of seeing that unfold online and then translating into such a tragic reality. It's a chilling reminder of how intense online confrontations can turn into something so devastating offline. What are everyone's thoughts on the influence of social media in situations like this? Do you think it offers too much of a platform for grievances to spiral out of control? Stay safe out there, everyone. ?
