I’ve been thinking a lot about the community's response to David Pabst’s murder and how it highlights the deep love people had for him. It’s just so tragic that someone who dedicated their life to public safety and service met such a violent end. I read about how the flags were lowered in his honor, which shows what a significant impact he had on the state of Wisconsin. It's moments like these that really remind us how interconnected we all are and how loss reverberates beyond just immediate family and friends. I didn’t know him personally, but seeing the outpouring of grief and remembrance for him says a lot about the kind of person he was. It’s such a loss for everyone involved. I hope Teresa and David find peace, and that the community continues to support each other through this hard time.
