Hi everyone,
I came across Emma Duncan's case, and something that stood out to me was the fact that she went missing during a group outing. It's concerning because this seems like a situation where a lot of people would have been around. I wonder if anyone else at the mall that day noticed her or saw where she might have gone. Group settings can be chaotic, especially in a place like a mall, so it's possible that details got missed. Has anyone heard if there were any witnesses who might have seen which direction she walked off in? It feels like someone had to have seen something, even if it seemed insignificant at the time. If anyone here was around the Northland Mall in June 2011 or knows someone who was, any small recollection could be crucial. Let's keep the discussion going and hope for some new leads.
I can’t stop thinking about how important it is for community vigilance when it comes to cases like Emma Duncan’s. Southfield is a tight-knit area, and it’s hard to believe that nobody noticed anything on June 5, 2011, when Emma disappeared from the Northland Mall. Sometimes small details can go unnoticed, but they could make all the difference.
I’m not local to Michigan, but in my town, we have a community alert system that helps notify people if someone with similar conditions is missing. I wonder if Southfield has something similar? Maybe it would be helpful in case someone happens to remember something from that day. It must be incredibly challenging for families dealing with dementia, knowing their loved ones are out there but not knowing where. We can all learn something about staying informed and looking out for each other, especially in such distressing circumstances.
