Has anyone else been following the case of Sarah Jansen? The last known sighting was of her crossing the U.S.-Mexico border near Lukeville, Arizona, and it’s bothering me how there seem to be no more updates. I’ve read some old threads about how this area can be pretty sketchy with limited surveillance and communication issues. It makes me wonder if border security might have missed anything. Does anyone here have insights or experience with what happens when someone goes missing in such a border zone? Could local authorities on both sides be hindering progress somehow without realizing it? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
I've been diving deep into the case of the young woman who went missing near the Lukeville border, and something that's been bugging me is the surveillance footage—or rather, the lack of it. With all the technology we've got today, you'd think there'd be more cameras or at least some clearer images available. The area around the border is pretty heavily monitored, isn't it?
I've read about instances where footage has been reviewed days or even weeks after someone goes missing, sometimes revealing new details. Why isn't there more emphasis on this aspect? Could it be that footage is being withheld for some reason, or is it just that there's nothing useful on them? Would love to hear what anyone else thinks about the role of surveillance in this case or in similar situations.
