I’ve been following the tragic case of Cathleen Elise Kochheiser, and there's a detail I keep wondering about. Has anyone else noticed the discussions about how poor the cellphone reception was in the area where she was shot? It seems like it played such a critical role in this situation, preventing quicker emergency response. I can’t help but feel frustrated thinking about how different things might have been if help could have reached her sooner. I deeply feel for her family and friends who must be grappling with this unimaginable hurt, and the added layer of anguish knowing that time was against them due to something as seemingly trivial as cell service. Does anyone have insights into whether there are efforts to improve the cellphone infrastructure in these kinds of remote areas to potentially prevent future tragedies? Or is it known if this has been a recurring issue in other incidents in the Capitol State Forest? Keeping Cathleen’s loved ones in my thoughts.
