I still can’t wrap my head around how something like this could happen at a facility that's supposed to be all about training animals. I mean, just because it's for a promotion video, were basic safety precautions completely thrown out the window? It's truly difficult to imagine the shock and horror that everyone there must have felt in that moment. Curtice was just 22, so much life still ahead of him. My heart goes out to his family and friends, who are now left to pick up the pieces and find some semblance of peace in this tragedy. In these situations, it’s essential for justice to be served, but it’s also a reminder of the incredible responsibility that comes with handling firearms, even more so around others.
