Has anyone else been following the disappearance of Javier? I noticed a lot of people talking about potential routes from Agua Prieta to Douglas, AZ, but what I'm wondering about is the time of day he chose to cross. I’ve read a bit about how different times can affect the amount of foot traffic and law enforcement presence at the border. Based on some of the crossings I've researched, midday seems like it might be risky because of increased visibility and heat. Does anyone here have experience with border crossings who could shed some light on how significant the timing might have been in Javier's case? I'm curious if this factor could have played a role in what happened to him.
Has anyone else been keeping an eye on the weird details around the disappearance of Carlos? I'm really curious about what happened between the border crossing on July 5th and him going completely off the radar. His last call to his mom was right before noon, and then nothing. I’ve been digging a bit into similar cases, and it seems that Agua Prieta/Douglas can be tricky with other unsolved disappearances.
