I’ve been following the Dale Allen Lafleur case for a while now, and I keep wondering about the missing Mazda Miata. Considering its unique features and the handicapped license plate, wouldn’t it be noticeable if it were spotted elsewhere or at a chop shop somewhere in the region? It's hard to believe it hasn't surfaced at all during these years. Even submerged cars tend to pop up eventually with water currents changing. I'm curious if anyone here might have insights into how often vehicles of this sort are retrieved from bodies of water, or if there are certain areas along the Atchafalaya River that might be key spots to search? With so many eyes on cases like this, it seems odd that nothing has turned up yet. Thoughts?
