I've been following this case closely, and I have to say it's been hard to wrap my head around the sheer senselessness of it all. What stands out most to me is the way the community has come together to honor Lavinia's memory. The vigils and the outpouring of support really show the impact this little girl had on those around her. I can’t imagine the pain her family is going through, knowing that her life was unjustly taken due to a grudge she had nothing to do with. It just makes you wonder how a feud could escalate to such tragic levels. I hope the arrests lead to justice and some form of closure for Lavinia's family. This never should have happened, and my thoughts are with everyone in Aiken County who’s been affected by this tragedy.
