Just came across this upsetting incident out of Myrtle Beach involving Grayson Meyers. I can't get over the fact that such a young life was stolen in what should be the prime of his life. I was particularly struck by the fact that this all happened inside Peaches Corner, a place that so many, including myself, have fond memories of. It's difficult to comprehend that a place which brings joy to many could be the scene of such a tragedy. My thoughts are with Grayson’s family as they navigate through this terrible situation. And also with the family of Evany McCray—it’s hard to imagine what they must be feeling too, knowing that their loved one is tied to this case. I just hope the community can find a way to come together and support one another through this. Acts of violence like these leave a mark, and I pray we can come to terms with how to prevent more incidents like this from happening.
