It's just so tragic and hard to wrap my head around this situation with April J. Adkins Houston. From what I've read and gathered, this incident turned a day meant for family and community into an unimaginable nightmare for everyone who knew her. My thoughts go out to her family and friends during this difficult time. What stands out to me, and maybe others feel this too, is how Robert "Bob" Houston played a part in planning a day of togetherness, only for it to end in such a devastating way. It's chilling to think about the shift that happened in those moments. I know detectives are digging through phones and other evidence to piece everything together. I genuinely hope we get some clearer answers soon, though I can't imagine that information will ease the pain. To anyone who's been touched by April's life, my heart is with you. May memories of her bring some comfort as we all try to make sense of this loss.
