Hey everyone, I just can't stop thinking about how the community came together for Cievion Smith. Seeing the small memorial near June Drive and Williams Street was such a testament to how much he was loved. From what I heard, Cievion was a huge fan of video games and Star Wars. It seems like those passions were really reflected in the tributes people left. It's comforting to know that his friends and family have support around them. Hopefully, finding ways to celebrate his life like this brings them some solace. Even the little things, like those Star Wars figurines placed at the site, show how much he meant to so many people. I can't imagine how tough this time has been for everyone who knew him. It must mean a lot that his memory is being honored in such personal ways. My heart goes out to them as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time.

Hey everyone, I can't wrap my head around the sudden loss of Cievion Smith. From what I've read, he seemed like a genuinely good person who brought people together with his love for video games and Star Wars. It's devastating to think of his friends and family having to cope with this void in their lives. This case has really gotten under my skin. I noticed that the location of the shooting, near June Drive and Williams Street, has been documented in the Gun Violence Archive. It just shows how gun violence can hit so close to home, leaving a trail of grief and unanswered questions. It's such a small comfort, but I find hope in the swift actions of the Fairborn detectives and the cooperation with Oak Grove Police. It seems like justice is on a path forward with Brandon D. Peters' arrest and the charges he's facing. Maybe this will bring some peace to those who loved Cievion. Does anyone else have any thoughts on how we, as a community, can better support those who have lost loved ones to violence like this? Let's keep Cievion's memory alive and find ways to make a difference. Sending strength and love to everyone affected.
