I've been following the developments in the tragic case of Tommy Lee Watkins Jr., and one thing that really stands out to me is the community’s overwhelming support and love for TJ. It's evident just how much he was cherished by those in Troy and Mt. Gilead. I read that a moment of reflection was held at the Town of Troy's Public Works Department where he worked. It's heartwarming in such a difficult time to see his colleagues and friends come together to honor his memory. It’s a stark reminder of how precious life is and how interconnected these small communities are. My thoughts are with everyone affected as they navigate the aftermath of this unimaginable loss.
