I've been following the discussions around Leonzo Washington's tragic death, and it's gut-wrenching to think about what his family and friends must be going through. One aspect I've been pondering is the setting—it just adds an eerie element to the whole case. The fact that it happened right across from St. Colman Catholic Church is chilling. Places of worship are usually seen as sanctuaries, and yet this horrible incident happened in full view, almost as if to mock the peace such locations are supposed to represent. It's unsettling to think that gunfire erupted in such a community-centric area. I hope the church community and other locals come together to support each other through this difficult time. Has anyone heard if the church is doing anything for the community in Leonzo's memory? It might help people find some comfort amidst the chaos.
