I’ve been thinking a lot about Paul Olsen’s case, and what baffles me is the location where he was found. Is it just me, or does it seem unusually remote to leave a body? Route 113 in Madison isn't exactly bustling, especially back in 1973. It makes me wonder whether it was someone familiar with the area, or maybe someone hoping to avoid detection by choosing such a concealed spot. Could the stream perhaps have been an attempt to hide evidence or were they trying to delay the discovery? My heart goes out to Paul’s family and friends, especially not knowing why or who did this. It's truly unsettling to think they’ve been searching for answers for all these years. Would love to hear others’ thoughts on the significance of the location.

I recently stumbled across the case of Paul Olsen while reading about unsolved mysteries, and I've been trying to wrap my head around how something so tragic could happen without resolution for all these years. I've been thinking a lot about the location where Paul was found—the stream off Route 113. The choice of location seems intentional, as if someone wanted to ensure his body would be discovered instead of hidden. What strikes me is the method: wrapping him in blankets. It feels strangely intimate, almost as if the person knew him or wanted to avoid the sight of what they had done. It's chilling to think about this, considering how young he was and the life he still had ahead of him. I can't imagine what his family and friends have gone through, knowing there hasn't been justice or closure. Does anyone know if there were any similar cases in that area around the same time? Or if there were other young people who had been approached or felt threatened? It's a long shot, but maybe a fresh look at those details could stir up something new. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him, and I hope one day we find the answers that have been elusive for so long.

I was researching some old cold cases and stumbled across the tragic story of Paul Olsen. It's so sad to think about how young he was and how his life was cut short in such a mysterious way. What's baffling to me is how a case with such distinct circumstances—being left in a stream wrapped in blankets—hasn't yielded more clues or leads after all these years. I can't help but wonder who could have done something so cruel, and why. Does anyone know if there were any significant events or similar cases around that time in the Madison area? Maybe there's something local investigators might have missed that could connect the dots. It's devastating for his family to not have answers after all this time; hopefully, with renewed interest, someone will come forward with the truth.
