Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Monte Gakin closely, and something that's been on my mind is the heightened security presence at Oxford Square Apartments following his murder. I understand the authorities are trying to assure residents' safety, but I wonder how effective these measures have been long-term. Have there been any updates from people living in the area on whether they feel safer now, or if the atmosphere has changed? Also, my heart goes out to Monte's family and friends. From what I've gathered, he was dearly loved and his loss has clearly left a huge impact on those who knew him. I really hope justice is served for him and that the community can find some peace moving forward. If anyone has more information or personal perspectives to share, it would be interesting to hear how folks are coping and what changes, if any, they're seeing around the neighborhood.
