Seeing the tragic news about Jet and River has left me deeply unsettled. I can't help but think about the immense grief their mother must be experiencing. Losing not just one, but two sons in such a horrific way is unimaginable. The fact that there were signs of trouble beforehand, with their mother seeking court protection, just makes it all the more distressing. I wonder if there were any opportunities missed to intervene or provide support to the family before it escalated to this tragedy. It seems like more could be done to prevent these situations when warning signs appear. My heart goes out to their mother and anyone else who loved those boys. They deserved so much better.
