Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Scott Hawkins Jr. and just can't stop thinking about how these car meetups can turn so devastating. I mean, those events are supposed to be for car enthusiasts to share their passion, not end in violence. It's just awful to imagine the chaos that unfolded and the fear everyone must have felt.
It's especially upsetting knowing that Scott was so young, just 22, with his whole life ahead of him. From what I've read, it looks like the police are working hard to piece together everything from that night, but it must be such a challenge with so many people and cars involved. I just hope that anyone who was there and saw something will find it in their hearts to come forward.
My heart goes out to Scott’s family and friends. I can't imagine the pain they're going through. Stay strong, and I truly hope justice is served.

Has anyone else been following the details about the recovery of firearms in the Scott Hawkins Jr. case? It’s so unsettling to think about the fact that multiple guns were found hidden right in the bushes near the scene. It makes you wonder just how planned or spontaneous this car meetup was and who could have hidden them. As a community, it might be time we dive deeper into how accessible firearms seem to be in these situations. How does something like this even happen in an environment where so many people could have been injured or worse? It’s incredibly concerning knowing that finding these guns didn’t lead directly to any arrests. I can't even begin to imagine what Scott's family is going through knowing that those responsible haven’t been caught. Praying for justice and some peace for everyone affected.
