Has anyone else noticed how quiet the neighborhood has been since Mayo Whitaker's tragic death? I live nearby and used to see him around quite often. He was always so friendly and polite. It’s surreal to think something like this could happen so close to home. Seeing the flowers and messages left on Congress Street is a reminder of how deeply this has affected us all. I just hope the police are able to find answers soon. It’s unsettling not knowing if the person responsible is still out there. My thoughts go out to Mayo's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Anyone have updates on the investigation or heard anything more about potential leads?
