Has anyone else noticed the role that technology is playing in solving these cases now? It’s so tragic what happened to Jahlik R. Colon, and my thoughts are with his family and friends who are hurting so much right now. But looking at how the authorities used surveillance and those Flock Safety license-plate readers to piece together events is pretty incredible. It makes me wonder just how different the outcome of investigations might be without these tools. The fact that they were able to track that silver Honda Accord so quickly is something we wouldn't have seen in the past. I just hope this technology helps bring some measure of justice and peace to Jahlik’s loved ones. What do others think of this technology being used more in policing? It seems like a double-edged sword sometimes, but in cases like this, it’s hard to deny its impact.
I'm still startled by how quickly the authorities managed to make arrests in Jahlik R. Colon's case. The use of Flock Safety license-plate readers seems to have been pivotal in tracking down the suspects. One thing that's been lingering in my mind is how technology is reshaping investigations like this. I can't help but think about how instrumental these tools are in providing some measure of justice and safety to the community, as well as peace to families affected by such a tragedy. Keeping Jahlik’s family in my thoughts as they navigate through this unimaginably difficult time. Every piece of evidence feels like a small step towards finding answers and, hopefully, a sense of closure for those who loved him.
