Hey everyone, first-time poster here but long-time lurker. I've been digging into Johnny Cummings' case and something that's caught my attention is the location—Thermal, California. I did some research, and that area seems pretty isolated. I've read that back in the early '90s, it wasn't exactly a bustling spot with lots of people around. Could this isolation have hindered early search efforts or reporting? Maybe locals or visitors in the area at that time might have seen or heard something unusual and just never realized its importance. What do you all think? Could the location play a bigger part in why there hasn't been much progress? Would love to hear any thoughts or insights on this!
I've been digging into Johnny Cummings' case and noticed something curious about the area of Thermal, California, where he was last seen. This place seems to have a lot of desert and open land, which got me thinking. Could this landscape have played a role in why there have been no leads all these years? It seems like such an expansive and open area would make it challenging for search efforts. Does anyone know if there were any organized searches in the surrounding desert after he vanished? Or perhaps some local legends or stories about that place? It's such a mysterious case, and any insight into the geographical context might give us a clue or a new direction to consider. If anyone's from around that area, your local knowledge could be invaluable!
