Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Robert "Flippy" Heckbert's case, and the part that sticks with me is how his friends described him as such a lively, warm guy who lit up any room he walked into. It's so disturbing to imagine how his life ended in such a brutal and tragic way. I can’t even begin to imagine what his family went through back then and continue to endure without knowing who’s responsible.
Something that keeps me up at night is whether someone might have seen something unusual along the river that went unreported. It was March, so there might have been a few brave souls outside despite the cold. Maybe someone has a small missing detail that could crack this case.
If you’re from the Manchester area or have ties there, talk to your older family members or friends about this case. It's a long shot, but sometimes time can jog memories. I’m hoping that the ripple effect of sharing his story can bring some justice for Flippy and peace to his loved ones.
Stay safe, everyone. Let’s keep this conversation going.
It's always struck me as incredibly tragic how Robert "Flippy" Heckbert's case has remained unsolved for so many years. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family has had to endure for decades, wondering what truly happened to him. I've read about so many cold cases where new technologies have finally brought some closure, and I keep hoping the same will happen for Robert and his loved ones.
One thing that stands out to me about this case is the location—the Merrimack River. It’s such a significant part of Manchester, and I wonder if anyone remembers seeing something suspicious near the river back then. If there’s someone who thinks they might know something, no matter how small, please come forward. It’s time we find justice for Flippy and give some peace to those who cared for him.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Robert "Flippy" Heckbert’s case lately, especially about how baffling it is that no witnesses or solid leads have surfaced over all these years. I mean, March 9, 1988, is a long time ago, but how is it possible that a murder like this could happen without anyone spotting something suspicious? The fact that Flippy’s body was found in such a public place as the Merrimack River makes you wonder if someone out there saw something that just hasn’t clicked into place for them yet.
It’s so frustrating and sorrowful to see the pain his family and friends must still endure, knowing that Flippy’s killer is still out there somewhere. I can't imagine how they cope with such an absence of answers. I'm really hopeful that someone with even the smallest piece of new information might finally come forward, giving this case the breakthrough it desperately needs.
If anyone has any ideas on how we might uncover new information or draw more attention to the case, please share. Maybe another social media push or connecting with local news outlets could help. Every little bit could make a difference!
Stay safe out there, everyone.
