I've been following the case of Anthonya Blevins and just feel compelled to talk about the community's reaction to such a tragic series of events. It's clear from the tributes and memorials that she was a bright light for many on Cincinnati's West Side—a community where everyone seems to know each other and come together in times of need. Having grown up in a tight-knit neighborhood myself, I can't imagine the void her sudden absence must leave for her friends and family. It's touching to see how quickly the community has responded with love and support, but it also underscores the deep pain so many must be feeling. I just hope that sharing our grief and stories about Anthonya can help bring a little bit of healing and perhaps some semblance of peace to those who knew her best. Sending my thoughts to everyone affected by this loss.
