Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Jan Keneth Meza Figueroa, and it's just so devastating to think about what his family and friends are going through right now. I wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind regarding the shooting location. The industrial area where this happened is usually pretty quiet at night, especially at that hour. It makes me wonder if the shooter knew about this place being relatively isolated or if it was all just a coincidence.
Anyone local to Charlotte know if this spot on Atando Avenue has a history of any similar incidents, or if it’s just a place that’s out of the way enough to carry out such a crime unnoticed? It feels like there must be a reason they ended up there in the first place. Hoping some of the folks here might have more insight into the area.
My thoughts are with Jan's loved ones. Let's keep the conversation going and maybe together we can uncover something helpful.
Stay safe out there, everyone.
It's really unsettling to think about the senseless violence that took young Jan Keneth Meza Figueroa's life and affected two others that night in Charlotte. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family and friends are going through right now. Reading about how quiet the industrial area was before the gunfire broke out makes it all the more chilling. This could happen to anyone’s loved ones.
Does anyone have insights into how the community around Atando Avenue is responding to this? Are they rallying together for more safety measures, or perhaps organizing something in Jan Keneth's memory? I know sometimes these tragic events can bring neighbors closer, though ideally, it shouldn’t take such horrible incidents to unite folks. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy, and I sincerely hope justice is served soon.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Jan Keneth Meza Figueroa, and I just can’t stop thinking about the two others who were injured that night. While the focus has understandably been on trying to find whoever is responsible for Jan’s death, I hope the investigation is also keeping tabs on how these survivors are doing. It must be incredibly difficult for them, both physically recovering and dealing with the trauma of what happened.
I'm also curious about whether the two survivors might have seen something that could help with the investigation. It seems like the community hasn’t had much luck in terms of leads, so any new information from those who were directly involved might shine some light on this tragic event. Just really hoping that they’re being supported through all of this and that we soon have some updates on the case. Thoughts?
