I’ve been following the case of Francisco Vallejo, and something that really bothers me is the claim that Fidencio Abreu tried to take those pills as officers were closing in. It makes me wonder about his mental state at the time of the incident. If he genuinely doesn’t remember what happened, as he reportedly told detectives, that raises so many questions about what led to this tragic event. Regardless of Abreu's mental state, none of this can undo the loss Francisco’s family is suffering. It’s such an unimaginable grief to lose someone under such violent circumstances. I hope they’re surrounded by love and support during this time, and I’m praying that justice brings them some sense of closure.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the timeline of events after Francisco Vallejo's tragic death. Has anyone else noticed how swiftly the Yonkers PD managed to zero in on Fidencio Abreu? Within hours of the shooting, they had a suspect in custody. It's a relief to see such efficiency, but it also makes me wonder how they gathered evidence so quickly. I can't imagine what Francisco's family must be going through, knowing his alleged murderer was living so close by and had such a rapid arrest. My heart goes out to them. Does anyone have more details on what led the police straight to Abreu that morning? Such a sad situation all around.

I’ve been reading about Francisco Vallejo’s case, and something that caught my attention is the background of the suspect, Fidencio Abreu. It’s noted that he was on parole when the incident took place. I can’t help but wonder how our justice system is monitoring parolees and if more could have been done to prevent this tragedy. It’s just so devastating to think that Francisco’s life was cut short because of someone who may not have been properly supervised or supported. My heart goes out to Francisco's family and friends during this difficult time. Does anyone have any thoughts or more info on how parole monitoring works in cases like this?
