Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking about the emotional toll this tragedy must be taking on the community in Candor. It’s so hard to imagine how the friends and family of Juan Munoz are coping with his sudden and violent loss. From everything I've read, Juan seemed to be a beloved figure within his circle, and this senseless act of violence has left a massive hole in many lives. What struck me was how quickly the community had to pivot from disbelief to mourning. One day, it’s a quiet Sunday, and the next, they’re trying to make sense of what feels completely nonsensical. I really feel for them. It's amazing how everyone came together at the San Juan Diego Mission for his service, trying to find some solace collectively. I know there’s a lot of talk about the investigation and the charges against Antonio Munoz, but amidst that, let’s not forget the real human element here. I can only hope that Juan’s loved ones find some peace or at least a path toward healing in such a dark time. They deserve nothing less.
