I'm still trying to wrap my head around how this happened right near a school with kids all around. As a parent, the thought of children hearing those gunshots and scrambling for cover is terrifying. It’s so unsettling to think that the aftermath of something so violent could become part of their young memories.
I can't help but wonder about the impact on the community, too. When this sort of violence erupts so close to home, it must leave everyone on edge. That day must have been pure chaos with so many students and families nearby. I really hope the authorities can find the person responsible and bring some sense of safety back to the neighborhood.
