Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this will have on Zacarius's friends and classmates? These kids were all set to celebrate a big milestone—finishing middle school and getting ready for high school. Instead, they're now grappling with the loss of a friend in such a brutal way. I remember how important those friendships were at that age, and I can't imagine what they're going through.
