Has anyone thought about how day-to-day life on Randall Place and in the Hyde Park community must feel now? It’s chilling to think about such an event happening in the middle of the day. Christopher Lewis lived amongst those neighbors, and I can’t imagine the fear and confusion this has caused for them. It’s like a piece of tranquility has been stolen from a place where people are just trying to go about their lives. I hope the community finds some peace soon and that they can gather together to support each other while the police continue their investigation. If anyone here is from the area, how has the community responded? Are there any local discussions or committees forming to address neighborhood safety? Stay strong, Hyde Park.
I've been thinking a lot about Christopher Lewis and the terrifying reality that his life was taken in broad daylight right inside a neighborhood home.
