I’ve been following Treyvon Jackson’s case since the news first broke, and while it’s been incredibly upsetting to learn about what happened, I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact of changing narratives. Initially, everything pointed towards an electric-bike purchase gone horribly wrong, but as details emerged, the focus shifted towards it being a marijuana robbery. It’s terrifying how quickly situations can escalate, and tragic incidents like this remind us of how dangerous misinformation or assumptions can be in the heat of a moment. My heart truly goes out to Treyvon’s loved ones, as navigating through changing narratives only adds to their pain. Justice might be on its path now with the recent arrest, but I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to find peace in such turbulent waters. Stay safe, everyone, and let’s continue pushing for the truth and justice for Treyvon.

John Mancuso is accused of killing Treyvon Jackson on July 22. Unfortunately the murderer was released and charges were dropped. Justice isn’t being sought for Treyvon. John Mancuso is back home with his family enjoying the holidays after killing and robbing Treyvon.
